Paying $105 for these three dishes is far better value than that ridiculous platter at Sarin’s in the Port Lincoln Hotel. It’s still on the expensive side, but it’s acceptable given it clearly requires proper chef input. By comparison, the platter next door costs almost the same when you order three of them, yet it barely resembles a chef-driven dish. The flavours are great! although it’s hard to tell how much actual crab meat you’re getting in each plate. That said, the cost of living in Port Lincoln is undeniably high, which at least partly explains the pricing.
Exquisite entree share plates, offering the best local seafood prepared expertly, which were enjoyed by 3 generations. Followed by 6 of us ordering a different main and all were presented exceptionally and tasted amazing. As return diners, we are never disappointed.
We are travelling around Australia and we came across this gem of a restaurant in Port lincoln. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a huge smile and once confirmed our booking we had a choice of reserved tables which was great. The service was really good answered all our questions about the menu on offer. The food we ordered was fantastic the flavours and the smell of the food was fantastic the only thing we found disappointing was there was not enough vegetables with the main dish. As it was father's day they had an awesome stage set-up to celebrate father's day with a motorbike in there as well. There was also some live music and the lady singing had the most wonderful voice. All in all it was a wonderful night.
I had a very nice dinner here. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. Highly recommended for seafood in Port Lincoln.
Fumo is currently our "go to" place for great restaurant dining at reasonable prices in Port Lincoln. The quality and flavor of the food is excellent, while the service, although polite, isn't to western standards wrt serving all seated guests at a table at the same time. The staff are friendly and do their best, so forgive the service timing and focus on the quality of the dishes - they are excellent. Would be 5 starts for service if the kitchen can improve co-ordination.
We travelled from QLD and came across this place, it boasts some amazing service by the staff, incredible seafood dishes. I totally recommend this for any seafood lover.
What a wonderful meal we experienced. We had the Swimmer crab Roll for Entree and they were delicious. I had the Coconut Crumbed Prawns for main which were outstanding and my hubby had the Whiting. He said it was a standout due to the salad it was paired with. The Sweets well I can’t even find the words. Hubby had the Sticky Date pudding and I don’t think they would need to wash the plate as he ate every last bite and I had the White Chocolate Cheesecake. Say no More - To Die For. We will definitely be back. The price was very affordable too. Highly recommend
Nice food, staffs are super nice. Must try their mussels when you are there, taste so good that we have to come back 2nd time. Must try place when visit Port Lincoln
